The realm of multiple birth presents enormous challenges to medical and related health professionals as much as it does for parents. Increasingly, as a result, a scientific literature is evolving in which multiple birth itself is the focus of investigation rather than being a means to another end. What follows are articles of a scientific nature which pertain to the intricacies of multiple birth. Scientists and health practitioners who have written on this complex topic are invited to submit articles or, as an alternative, to provide links to where their articles may be consulted.
