| Each year in Canada over 4,000 sets of twins and 75 sets of triplets, quadruplets and quintuplets combined are born (Multiple Births Canada's Facts & Figures Fact Sheet, 1998). Some professionals have called the recent rise in multiple births "an epidemic." With the rise in multiple births, unfortunately, there will also be losses. The following offers direction, guidance, support and possible referrals in a very painful situation. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
