Surviving Co-Multiples - Shared Stories
Twins, triples and more are bonded with each other at the moment of conception and of course, this pre-empts bonding with the parents. A singleton child, has his/her initial bonding experience with the parents. Only in the last decade or so, at the prompting of surviving co-multiples, has the effect of losing a co-multiple(s) and the unique grief perspective begun to be explored. Some survivors have reported feeling 'alone' or 'always looking.' Some have indicated their lives have been brought to a screeching halt.

Sharing stories can be very helpful in acknowledging the pain of such loss, realizing that you are not alone and others walk the same path too. If you would like to send in your story, please email me.
